About the Center
The Supreme Council's newest charity was established in 1994 to provide dyslexic children with specialized one-on-one tutoring to enable them to cope with their deficit in reading and writing. While dyslexia cannot be cured, it can be treated. These Centers are situated throughout the 15-State Northern Jurisdiction.
Students are accepted into the Learning Center Program at no charge to their parents or to any school from which they are referred. Applicants are not judged on the basis of economic status, race, religion, or Masonic affiliation.
How you can help
If you wish to contribute to the efforts of our Learning Center, you can call the Center Director or the Valley Office (215-563-1814) for more information.
We would like to thank all of our Members, the Family of Freemasonry in the greater Philadelphia region, and the many public corporations that come onboard to help sponsor the Philadelphia Learning Center, but more help is needed and welcome.
Valley Members or anyone can contribute financially to the Learning Center Fund. Make your tax-deductible check payable to the "Ill. Joseph E. Trate, 33º Fund," and mail it to the Scottish Rite Office, Masonic Temple, One North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107-2520.
Now you can show Your Community that You are a Learning Center Supporter

The 32º Masonic Learning Centers for Children license plate is now available to Scottish Rite Masons and others who want to show their support for the Learning Centers.
There is a one-time fee of $32 for the plate. Make your check payable to: PA COD (Pennsylvania Council of Deliberation). The Learning Center receives $8 from each plate sold (this is also tax-deductible).
Due to regulations by the Pennsylvania Bureau of Motor Vehicles, the organizational license plate can onlybe ordered for automobiles, trucks, and motor homes (which weigh 9,000 lbs. or under). Vanity numbers, motorcycles or handicapped plates are not available on organizational license plates.
You can download an application for the plate by clicking here. The application is in pdf format. If you do not have a pdf reader you can download one for free from Adobe by clicking the link below.
Mail your completed application and check, made payable to "PA COD" to: PA COD c/o Bob Stanley, PO Box 2726, Harrisburg, PA17105-2726. You do not have to be a Scottish Rite Mason to order the plate. Anyone can get one!
